Many of you know that we’re redesigning this site as well as it’s logo. We want a logo that is simple but communicates impact at the same time. Something that at a glance reads “this is art related”, communicates the new web address, and has an emphasis on the “God” part without getting too “churchy”.
Take a look at what we’ve come up with so far, then share your thoughts in the comments area below the samples:

Ilike it. It is simple but says a lot.

I like it as well. I kind of curious to see what the green spatter would look like if was a cross. Just a hint of the cross and not a cross. Over all still like it

Very clean and dynamic. Love the splatter spotlighting GOD. Michael A.’s comment sounds worth exploring a bit… just a hint of a cross… very subtle but there. I wonder what would happen if you capitalized each word in the address. Would it be more readable at a glance to those who look at it for the first time? Is familiarity making this long phrase seem more readable than it is?
Curious… is your choice of green related to Life in Christ and growth? (I’m working on a painting referencing that right now.)
Kudos. Love passing your link on.

Nice and very intersting–your eye is drawn to the green first which sets the focus on God then you see the web address.

I like the idea Michael A. suggested.
A hint of the cross, in green, whether in splatter or as if it was draw with the stroke of a finger on green splattered paint(if that makes any sense).

I like the blob but agree with the cross thingy and maybe alittle more color.

I agree with Michael A. Just a little more of “the cross” in the green blob. The “burst” behind it reminds me of the blood that was shed.
